The goals of the program is to establish and develop Camp Fire clubs and programs for low-income, minority, and at-risk children; and to provide family strengthening activities.
The anticipated outcome of the program is that children will have positive adult role models in their life, build self-esteem, have opportunities to develop socialization skills, learn to give service to their community, do healthy activities together as a family and have fun. These experiences will reduce drug usage, gang involvement, domestic violence, and school dropout.
There are Mega Clubs throughout the county. Call 425 258 KIDS or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about joining a Mega Club or to volunteer with the program.
